Job Description

Location:  Marischal College

Duration:  Permanent. Full Time x 4

All trainees start at the grade G9. They will then progress through to G10 after passing their first year internal exams. 

Job Purpose:
The post-holder will provide a front line service to members of the Local Government Pension Scheme with the North East Scotland Pension Fund.
They will administer the membership, calculation and payment of pension benefits in accordance with Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations.
They will work with the Training and Development Team to acquire and maintain the knowledge required in order to succeed at the above two points. 

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Educated to Higher Grade or Equivalent

The interview will be done in two parts with the first part being an Aptitude test to evaluate numerical skills, communication skills and ability to work under pressure. A formal interview will then be offered to those who have achieved a successful pass in the aptitude test.

Experience of using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and e-mail

Be numerate

Excellent Communication Skills

Ability to work quickly and accurately

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work with minimum supervision
